Rock Spring Press is interested in publishing non-fiction writing about the outdoors, nature, the environment, and travel - preferably travel in natural places. Historical is also acceptable if it is related to nature/environment. Manuscripts covering regions east of the Mississippi River in the United States are preferred. Anthologies and/or essay collections will not be considered. To submit a manuscript, please send a cover letter, short synopsis of your book, and three sample chapters. The synopsis and sample chapters should be typed and double-spaced (double-sided printing is fine). Unagented and first-time writers are encouraged to send their work.
